The PFC will meet at the Council Ranger Station, and then travel to the Mill Creek and Bench Creek areas to review:
- Marking of trees in harvest units (legacy tree policy)
- Examples of road reconstruction and culvert installations
We'll discuss how the lessons learned from these examples can help the Payette National Forest make sound decisions on upcoming restoration projects.
Bring a lunch with you to the field trip.
Note the trip is scheduled to return to Council by 4:00 pm.
Weather Forecast: Could be a repeat of the June field trip - upper 50's and 30% chance of rain. Dress warm and bring rain gear!
