I’ve been informed that the Huckleberry DEIS may not be back from the writer/editor in time to give the PFC a week to review the document prior to our scheduled May 16 meeting.  Current estimate for DEIS release is sometime between May 13 and 16.  I connected with the Steering team and Forest Service, discussed the issue, and proposed changing our meeting date.  They believe this is a reasonable approach.  Three potential meeting days have emerged.  I’ve set up a Doodle poll to see which is the most preferable for the majority of PFC members. 

May 23 would be held in Council as the conference room at the McCall office is unavailable.  This is the Forest Service’s preferred date (most staff available). 

May 24 could be held either at McCall (as of today) or Council.  If the McCall conference room is still available by the time the poll closes, we’ll meet there. 

June 6 would be held in Council as the conference room in McCall is unavailable.
