LIVING WITH FIRE IN VALLEY COUNTY
A Shared Learning Opportunity for Stakeholders
April 24-25, 2018

Valley County, Idaho is no stranger to wildfire. Each year, firefighters and the public are at risk; communities and infrastructure are at risk; natural resources and critical habitat are lost; and bank-breaking suppression costs continue to rise.

The Valley County Fire Working Group Cooperative is hosting an interactive opportunity for stakeholders to learn more about local wildland fire issues and how to collectively better address them for increased landscape resiliency, increased community fire adaptivity and a safer, more effective firefighting response.

April 24 & 25, 2018
Quaker Hill Conference Center
1440 Warren Wagon Road
McCall, ID 83638

The two-day workshop includes an interactive session on April 24th with multiple presentations and learning exercises. The session on April 25th includes a field trip to visit local projects as well as the site of a recent wildfire in the Wagon Wheel area.

Registration is FREE but stakeholders must register for the catering head count.
Lunch and snacks will be available both days.

This Project is funded in part by the Idaho Department of Lands in Cooperation with the USDA Forest Service. This Institution is an equal opportunity provider.
