A Note from Kim Pierson

Dear PFC Friends,

After many years of working together to accomplish truly meaningful landscape restoration work on the Payette National Forest, it is bittersweet to share with you all that I have accepted a new position as the Deputy Forest Supervisor on the Idaho Panhandle National Forests. The last 8 years have been an incredible adventure with all of you and I am going to struggle leaving gracefully. My heart is full of gratitude for the hard work that each of you do, the hours of dedication you have provided to the Payette Forest Coalition, and I will miss the true friendships I have made with each of you. I am so proud of the work we have accomplished together and know that we have greater outcomes as a result of that investment.

After finishing my detail on the Boise National Forest, I plan to be back on the District on April 16th. My official start date in Coeur D’Alene is June 11th. I will work hard with folks to build a solid transition plan and leave great tracks for the work we are doing together.

Thank You, Kim Pierson
