Last week Sandra Mitchell and I attended a meeting hosted by David Claycomb with the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation (IDPR).

IDPR is submitting a proposal for a large “pilot project" area with the Frank Church Wilderness in the center and surrounded by a network of motorized trails, all of which need maintenance. A significant portion of this area is within the Payette National Forest.

Dave Claycomb at IDPR asked if the Payette Forest Coalition would be willing to support IDPR’s recommendation. Please see the PFC Forum post regarding the draft IDPR letter.
