Steering Team Nominations and Election
- Two positions are open on the PFC Steering Team.
- Rick Tholen recently resigned from the Team.
- A second position has been vacant for some time, and remained open while attempting to fill the vacancy with a member representing conservation goals of the PFC.
- The role and duties of the Steering Team are defined in the PFC's Organizational Structure, a document located in the Protocols Library.
- The commitment is a minimum two year term (current members have been more than generous with their time).
- Nominations are now open for Steering Team Members.
- The nomination and election procedures are as follows:
- The nomination, vote, and appointment for the subsequent year will occur no later than the November PFC meeting.
- The nominating process is described as follows:
- Any PFC voting member may propose a candidate by: 1) contacting the candidate to receive their consent, and 2) submitting the candidate’s name on the Forum.
- The PFC November meeting agenda includes a vote on the candidates.
- Candidates will be elected by simple majority.
