How can community planning efforts help shape Forest Service designations? 
June 15, 2016, 7-9 pm
Idaho First Bank, 475 Deinhard Ln, McCall, ID 83638

We are hosting a series of listening sessions to hear from various stakeholders on their perspectives on land management designations. The June 15 meeting will highlight the West Central Mountains Economic Development Strategy and its recommendations regarding recreation on the Payette National Forest. We will also have a presentation on the McCall Comprehensive Plan and Transportation Master Plan.

June 15 Agenda (Note new meeting location at Idaho First Bank):
7:00 pm Introductions and welcome to new attendees
7:10 pm Update on Payette Forest Coalition activities
7:15 pm Presentation on the West Central Mountains Economic Development Strategy
7:45 pm Introduction to the City of McCall’s Comprehensive Plan and Master Transportation Plan
8:00 pm Discussion of how these plans can inform discussions regarding potential designations on the Payette National Forest

 

The meeting is open to Payette Forest Coalition members and members of the public.

Everyone is also encouraged to attend a Payette Forest Coalition field trip, scheduled for Thursday, June 16 from 9-4 at the Council Ranger District.
