How did the Forest Service develop the current Forest Plan designations?

May 18, 2016

7-9 pm

Bistro 45 in McCall

Our guest speaker is Patti Soucek, Forest Planner for the Payette National Forest

We are hosting a series of listening sessions to hear from various stakeholders on their perspectives on land management designations. The May 18 meeting will focus on where the current Forest Plan designations came from. Patti Soucek, a Forest Planner on the Payette National Forest, will discuss how the Forest Service developed the current boundaries and designations for Recommended Wilderness and Inventoried Roadless Areas. Patti will also review what has and has not changed from previous Forest Plans and how the public can make recommendations for the next Forest Plan revision.
