I am pleased to announce that Steve Kimball has accepted the Natural Resources Staff Officer position on the Payette.  Steve is currently the Northern Region Wilderness-River-Guides Program Manager in Missoula, MT, a position he has held since October 2012.  Steve has a diverse background with experience in wilderness management, extensive external partnership coordination, and has held key positions including the Idaho National Fire Plan Coordinator, 3 District Ranger positions (Salmon-Challis, Green Mountain, and Tongass NF’s), Ecosystem Manager/Silviculturist at the Mount St. Helens Monument, and Silviculturist on the Siskiyou NF. 

Steve has BS degree in Forest Management from the College of Forestry at the University of Minnesota.

Steve’s start date is March 9, 2015.
