Dear PFC members:
The vote
on whether to submit a comment letter on the Granite Goose draft EA to the Forest Service did not meet the required Decision threshold of consensus minus 1 to do so. The voting record is included for your reference. In light of this outcome, the PFC is unable to submit a consensus opinion on the Draft EA. Members/organizations may wish to submit their own comments directly to the Forest Service.
No statement about PFC’s lack of consensus opinion will be submitted to the Project’s Reading Room (i.e., the project record).
The PFC’s engagement with the project will continue with a review of the draft final EA and decision. Comments from the public may cause modifications to the proposed actions.
