The Western Governors Association has
just released a comprehensive report on the forest restoration needs of the 11
western states. That report is stored on our website and seems to mirror most of the discussions
we had at the Workshop in January. The Partners ask that you review the
report (16 pages) and report back to the
IFRP Partners as to the applicability of the WGA concepts and recommendations
to the work you are doing in your individual Collaboratives.
A Forum has been established at that same link which is
available to all visitors. We are asking that you:
- Make comments regarding the good and not-so-good portions of the
report, as it affects your Collaborative efforts.
- Forward this message to others in your
Collaborative who might be interested in commenting.
- Make recommendations as to what actions, if any,
the IFRP should undertake to support the WGA in this effort.

bottom of the page.
