The Evolving Priorities of Forest Restoration

The fourth quarter of the calendar year is the time I review the collaborative projects that IFRP tracks in State of the Forest. This year, the content reviews the evolving forest restoration national priorities since the start of IFRP, including the Wildfire Crisis Strategy. Much has happened since 2009, and the periodic changes in national priorities can be a bit overwhelming for volunteers. We hope this overview provides a bit of structure to understand the changes and the impact on collaborative forest restoration.
