Dear collaborative group member or interested party,

The Payette Forest Coalition has asked Carl Jorgensen, Forest Health Protection Group Leader for the Northern and Intermountain Regions of the Forest Service, to speak at their March meeting about current insect and disease activity within Idaho forests including a special focus on balsam woolly adelgid (BWA) infestations on the Payette and other National Forests in Idaho.  Meeting participants will have opportunities to ask questions and discuss what can be done to reduce impacts to ecosystems and forest users from this non-native invasive species.
