The Forest will have a booth at the Idaho State Historical Society event Bridging Time: A Celebration of Arts & Preservation. Our booth will showcase Forest Service history pertaining engineering achievements relating to firefighting and fire prevention (think lookouts, guard stations, historic tools and equipment,
etc.)
The event is located at 210 W. Main St in Boise (3rd/Main), aka the old Assay Office, aka old BNF SO, aka the current SHPO office. The building (a listed National Landmark) has recently been rehabbed and will be open for tours! In addition, on the grounds is a lovely little
interpretive trail that has Forest Service panel.
